Yes...an update

Well folks, here we are again. You thought I fell of the edge of the xanga world, but I crawled back up by the skin of my teeth. Haha, my Mom hates that phrase. Speaking of Moms, mine is here in Germany, along with my Dad and my brother Scott. It's great having them here, fun to show them around what has been home for the last nearly 2 years! We have a few trips planned during their time here..to Rothenberg, Neuswanstein, Switzerland, Cinque Terre Italy...should be fun. But I feel so blessed to have them here and to get to spend time with them. It's great! I hope you are all having a wonderful spring break thus far!! Talk to you soon!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Well Friends, it's time. Yes, indeed, the time has come. What time you say? The time to update, I reply. I cannot overdo this updating business, but since it has been over a month, here tis.

Much has happened, from Christmas Banquet to dorm cleaning, but y'all know all about that. So onto break. I can't believe a week is gone, and I really can't believe those of you out there who want to come back to school already!!!! Goodness, enjoy being away for awhile!!! Through the kindness of some teacher friends who got to go home for Christmas, I and 3 RA friends are staying at a nice house in town. We have had much fun doing next to nothing and whatever we please!!! A few late nights talking, a shopping trip or two, a day in Frieburg, and just a few movies, it's been nice.

This is my second year away from home for Christmas, and though maybe not as shocking, it doesn't get any easier either. I miss my family lots and all the Christmas traditions we had there. So, maybe next year... But I am so thankful for good friends here and the abundance of blessings God has given me. I am often overwhelmed by His goodness. He is the same, here or at home, so I am glad. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Christmas and all that You give us!!!! I love all you out there and hope you enjoy your time with family and friends!! Merry Christmas!!!!!

And a Month Later....

...the time has come to update. I finally realized it was not a shortage of info that was keeping me from it, but a shortage of motivation. Most of you know what's been going on anyway, but for those dear ones far away, here's the scoop, or some of it, or some scoops...whatever.

We just had a great 3-day weekend, and here at Storch Dorm that meant "Anne of Green Gables" weekend!! We watched the whole 6 hour or so movie in 3 nights, complete with snacks of raspberry cordial and fruitcake. Nearly everyone watched some of it, some even braided their hair Anne style to really get into it!! It was just as good as always, we were all rooting for Gilbert, and what do you know? he got her yet again! Complete with sighs and tears from some of the girls (ok, i did too... and Nicole, I really missed you being here to watch it and analyze every little scene with!!!). Friday was a ice skating, and though we now have sore muscles and pretty bruises, it was fun and worth every pain. The next two weekends shall be busy with the musical next weekend and Christmas Banquet the next. Yikes, it's almost Christmas!!!!

I got some super exciting news just lately....but can't share it with anyone, so don't even ask!!! You will know one day soon!!!!

I'd just like to say that the Storch girls are beautiful  and wonderful young ladies. It's so great living with them. I'm so thankful for the life and job that God has given me. He's been teaching me so much and blessing me tremendously!!! Thank you God!!!!
